Africa Day is one of the most significant celebrations on the global calendar, a moment to honour the beauty, resilience, creativity and cultural richness of a continent that has shaped the world.

Sip & Paint: Africa Day Celebration is an immersive evening of creativity, connection and culture. From guided painting and live music to an art exhibition showcasing incredible Black artists from Manchester, this is a night to celebrate, to create and to come together.

Expect warmth, colour, community and an atmosphere that stays with you long after you leave.

WHAT TO EXPECT

GUIDED PAINTING SESSION

Pick up a brush and follow along at your own pace with a guided canvas and the unique opportunity to incorporate vibrant African print fabrics into your artwork. Every piece will be as individual as the person who creates it.

ART EXHIBITION

Explore a curated collection of Africa-inspired artwork from talented artists across Manchester. A celebration of the diverse artistic voices within our community and a reminder of the power of representation in creative spaces.

LIVE MUSIC

Let the evening soundtrack wash over you. Local musicians will fill the space with live performances inspired by the sounds of the African continent, the perfect backdrop to a night of creativity and celebration.

DRINKS & GOOD VIBES

Sip delicious drinks, unwind and soak up the atmosphere. This is a space to exhale, enjoy and be present.
