DRAWN: Afro-Futurism
A live art experience where creativity, culture, and imagination intertwine. Hosted by Rooted Culture, this session invites artists, makers, and dreamers of all levels to explore what the future might look like through an Afro-Futurist lens.
Across the evening, we’ll move through guided drawing intervals, poetry performances, and immersive soundscapes, creating space for reflection, experimentation, and connection.
You’ll have the freedom to draw, paint, collage, or create using any medium you feel drawn to. Whether you bring your sketchbook, paintbrushes, or pencils, the night is yours to interpret. A limited selection of materials will also be provided for those who need them.
Expect an open, relaxed atmosphere filled with music, movement, and conversation, a space to express yourself and connect with other creatives in the city.
